«Where the Musical Journey is the Destination» – Ferry Corsten

Ferry Corsten is a Dutch DJ, producer, and composer, widely regarded as one of the most influential figures in electronic dance music. He was born in 1973 in Rotterdam.

In the late 1990s, he rose to fame with his project System F and the iconic track Out of the Blue, which became a trance anthem. His compilation Trance Nation sold over half a million copies worldwide.

Under the aliases Gouryella and Moonman, he created even more melodic tracks that became festival anthems. He later introduced the project FERR, exploring deeper, progressive, and ambient sounds.

Corsten is also known for his remixes for U2, Justin Bieber, Moby, Duran Duran, and other global stars.

He hosts the radio show Resonation Radio and runs the label Flashover Recordings, supporting new generations of artists.

For his contribution to music culture, he was honored as a Knight in the Order of Orange-Nassau.

Today, Ferry Corsten remains a living legend and a continuing force in the Dutch electronic music scene.
